What an interview I have for you today! Dr. Simoné Laubscher is a powerhouse woman on a mission to heal the world into health and wellness.
Listen to her story carefully as life took her on quite a rocky journey.
Today, she is the Founder of Rejuv Wellness with centers in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Egypt, is the formulator for all of Wellco products (Elle MacPherson’s Health Product Line), and naturopath to celebrities all over the world as well as The Royal Family!
I’m honored to call her a dear friend and former client of mine.
See ladies? The Elegant Life really IS possible, no matter what your past circumstances.
Enjoy this incredible interview where Simoné opens up about some very personal and raw details of her life’s journey to where she is now.
Have you ever desired to travel the world for free? Well, cruise ship speaker Hazel Griffiths does just that!
I’m SO thrilled to be back this week to share an interview I did with Hazel where she describes how she went from being bullied and emotionally exhausted as a banker to absolutely LOVING her life!
During this interview, Hazel shares such valuable tips and nuggets of wisdom. Of course, I also add the feminine, Elegant Life perspective in there too! Ha! Ha!
You are really going to enjoy this light-hearted, yet very inspirational interview.
Enjoy!
And please let me know which part inspired you the most.
Imagine being a stay-at-home mum for 25 years and one morning you receive a call from your daughter asking you to come to London to meet her boss because he’s needing a grey-haired woman…and within a week you’re being photographed for UK Vogue.
This is exactly what happened to Caroline Labouchere only a few years ago.
She did not work hard for this or push and grind the modeling scene; it was a pure Divine gift that landed in her lap. See ladies? Life can truly flow in your favour.
I filmed this interview last year when I was still living in Dubai – perfect timing – as just after this interview, the world went into lockdown.
Pour yourself a lovely cup of tea and enjoy this most beautiful story of how Caroline Labouchere is now living her “best life”.
As you can see we’ve had a bit of a Makeover. I’m so, so happy with the look, feel, and vibration of it. We simply had to be in alignment with the look and feel of the NEW AGE!
If you weren’t on my Facebook & Instagram LIVES today you may not have heard me speak about the New Age that is emerging. This isn’t a cute little phrase I’m using; it’s a time period that will be written about in the history books.
Certain systems have had to break down and deep issues have had to rise to the surface – on a personal, national AND global level.
It’s only when we become fully conscious and aware of problems that can solutions be found.
In this week’s video, I share with you where the world is heading, where the Elegant Life is heading, and what that all means for YOU!
Watch and learn all about it and let me know….are you with me?
Are you ready to be an Elegant, Divine part of history?
This week I am sharing one of my favorite high vibe recipes. No added sugar carrot cake! Healthy, nutritious and tasty.
Here is the full recipe:
For the Cream Cheese Topping
2 large packages (total 500g) of full-fat cream cheese (dairy or coconut)
170 g unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup (80ml) honey or maple syrup (I actually
like doing half honey & half maple syrup)
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Method:
Beat the cream cheese and butter until
completely smooth.
Add the honey/maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract and beat together. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour or two.
For the Cake
2 1/4 cups 9260g) white spelt flour (or any white flour)
1 cup (100g) unsweetened flaked coconut
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt (or regular salt is fine)
1tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 cup + 2tbsp (270ml) coconut oil, melted (can
use vegetable oil instead)
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
3 tbsp honey
2 packed cups (200g) of grated carrots
1 cup (226 g) crushed pineapple (can buy pineapple
in the can and quickly blend to a crushed texture)
1 cup (140g) raisins
Optional: 1 cup (110g) walnuts, chopped
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 C | 350 F.
Grease and flour a 9 X 13” pan.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda,
salt, spices and coconut in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Mix the oil and eggs in a measuring jug and pour
into the flour mixture.
Mix together with a wooden spoon. Add the honey, carrot, pineapple and mix once more until all the ingredients are well combined and no dry pockets are present.
Add the raisins (and walnuts if using) and fold
into the batter.
Pour into the greased & floured pan and
smooth until it’s all level.
Bake for 30 minutes for a fan (convection oven
or 35-40 minutes for a regular oven.
The cake is ready when it’s firm on top and a
toothpick comes out clean.
Place the cake pan on a wire rack to let the
cake fully cool.
Once the cake is fully cool, smooth the frosting
on top.
Bon Appetit!
