how to be happy
CategoriesMANIFESTING CONFIDENCE, MANIFESTING JOY

A few years ago I was feeling SO sorry myself. Maybe you can relate?

My husband was packing for his yearly guys getaway. He was giddy with excitement as they WhatsApp’ed each other. And me?

I was sitting on the sofa feeling a strong pressure in my chest and utter resentment that once again he was heading off on a trip while I looked after the kids.

He must have felt my energy (okay, it was pretty strong so it’d be hard to miss!), so he said, “Erin, are you mad that I’m going on this trip?”

Me: No, it’s just that here I am, once again, sitting home with the kids while you go away and have fun. It feels so unfair.

Him: I never stop you from planning your own trip. Go! I’ve never stopped you.

Me: Silence…hmmm..he had a point.

It was at that moment I realised that my resentfulness was present because I wasn’t giving myself permission to go. It was MY choice, not his. I would come up with ALL the reasons: too much to organise, clients, kids’ schedules, money…

How to Be Happy

And then I called myself out. What did my Soul really crave? Answer? Time away with my girlfriends in Provence.

I got up, emailed my friends and within a couple of months we were in Provence (See photos of us HERE having THE best time.) I hadn’t laughed that hard for I don’t know how long…you know, the one where your stomach is in pain from laughter?

A trip away with my girlfriends has became MY yearly tradition and I want to share with you the latest escapade that my friend Sandrine and I went on. Come with me to beautiful Budapest!

In this video you will learn:

With so much love,
