So, I’m back from my holidays and ready to upgrade my life and business even more. Do you feel this way too?
My hubby and I were really feeling the desire to upgrade certain things that we use on a daily basis so when we were in Turkey at our Summer House we purchased new towels and cutlery- their specialties! I don’t think anyone makes towels as soft as Turkey!
I also upgraded my handbag, which I still really like but the lack of sections was driving me crazy! Always rummaging around for my keys at the bottom of my bag was no longer acceptable to me.
I purchased two new bags (see below the video) I LOVE them!
Last month I really focused on showing you how to declutter your life and vibration. Well THIS month my focus will be on showing you how to install more JOY, BEAUTY & PLEASURE into your life…in other words, how to upgrade your life!

I poured myself a cup of organic hot cocoa and my favorite sweet cream, and sat up straight in my chair to spend these last 16 or so minutes with you, resonating with all you are saying. I thoroughly enjoy the elegance of finer things though I am an old soul and cherish the vintage things, too. For me it’s about the balance…. Upgrading the everyday items with pretty drawers, boxes, decorating the closets, the shelves as if everything is a present, displaying things beautifully in my fridge, etc. And then when I spot the ‘upgraded’ purchases amongst all of it, I want to spin around with joy. I remember the feeling buying those pieces, the emotional connection I had and how I feel so womanly – as if I’m standing taller in whatever piece I’ve put on myself that day or whatever piece I’m sitting next to in my home. What the finer things give you is grace, elegance – it’s effortless, it speaks for itself. It’s the same high as having a good hair day. And the chocolates, the organics – those moments are divine as well. On occasion I will treat myself to a box of chocolates just for me (I have to hide them from my husband or he’ll steal them, haha)! And, in my 30s I switched up from the regular makeup to the higher lines I always wanted. Now my routine is so fun and filled with simple beauty, and my skin never looked lighter or more natural. I took my niece shopping for her makeup for the first time – she had no clue how to wear or apply it, and I taught her from the get-go to stay with the more high-end products. I showed her that it’s about accentuating what you have, not covering yourself up so people can’t see you. To this day she has not waivered from those products and she always looks beautiful. I feel the way we dress, the way we walk and speak, behold the same philosophy. It’s about bringing out what’s already there and when we’re happy and true to our selves and indulge just a little, we glow from within. The most important aspect in all of this is to never let yourself fall out of awe with life or with yourself. xo!

You said it right, that the joy in life is found in remaining in awe of it’s beauty…whether it be in nature’s beauty, a gorgeous perfume bottle, high-end make-up or skincare, bedding, relationships…I always say that I feel like I am living in a dream that I created:) I KNOW you relate to that x
I am realizing I need to upgrade my closest circle – my man, my kids. I am loving, kind and supportive and I am NOT getting that back in kind from them. So I am making a slight pivot away from them and towards who shows up and brings that. I never want to stop being who I am, I am proud of that….I am just recognizing when people are receiving that from me in a greedy, selfish way and I am going to turn towards others who will give back in kind.
