JUDGEMENT DETOX: How to Move From Judgement to Self Love

Let’s be honest…we’ve ALL done it. Yep—judgement.

We’ve looked at another woman and thought:

  • “Why would she wear that?”

  • “Well, SHE thinks highly of herself, now doesn’t she?”

  • “I don’t like her. She’s SO ______.”

I could probably write a 10,000-word post just listing the countless ways we’ve judged others.

But here’s the real question: what about the judgement we place on ourselves?

Self-Judgement Is the Harshest Kind

Do any of these sound familiar?

  • “How could I be so stupid?”

  • “She’s 55 and not overweight—what’s wrong with me?”

  • “What I have to say doesn’t matter. Others say it better than I ever could.”

At first, judging others and judging ourselves may seem like two separate things. But in truth, they’re deeply connected. When you judge another woman, it often mirrors a hidden judgement you already carry about yourself.

And this cycle of comparison and criticism erodes our self-worth, feminine confidence, and joy.

The good news? You don’t have to stay stuck there.

The Elegant 3-Step Judgement Detox

I’ve created a simple, feminine, and very elegant 3-step practice to release judgement—whether it’s about yourself or someone else—and turn it into self-love in just seconds.

Step 1: Pause & Notice

The moment you catch yourself judging, pause. Take a breath and simply notice the thought without shaming yourself for it.

Ask: “What is this really about?”

Step 2: Reflect & Redirect

Behind every judgement lies a wound, insecurity, or unmet need. Instead of letting the judgement spiral, gently redirect it with compassion.

Ask: “What do I truly need right now—acceptance, love, or reassurance?”

Step 3: Replace With Self-Love

Choose a higher perspective. Speak to yourself the way you would to a dear friend. Replace the judgement with a loving truth.

Examples:

  • Instead of “She thinks she’s so special,” try: “I admire her confidence. I can cultivate that too.”

  • Instead of “I’m not good enough,” try: “My voice matters. What I offer is uniquely mine.”

Over time, this practice rewires your thoughts and strengthens your self-love, confidence, and feminine grace.

ELEGANT POTATO & ONION PACKETS (Planted Based Dinner Idea)

Ever stumped on what to make for dinner? Sometimes I just want a simple, plant-based dinner idea that won’t take much time or effort.

This week I want to share with you one of my go-to ideas as you can literally add anything you like in these easy oven packets.

Potatoes and onions are always a nice base and then just add whatever else you want inside. I often add carrots.

Serve this elegant packet with a crunchy green salad that is dressed in lemon & oil (and sprinkled with salt) and you have on your hands an exquisite, high vibe, plant-based dinner! (Yes, it’s Vegan too!)

The full recipe is typed below the video. You asked, I listened;)

Elegant Potato & Onion Packets

Ingredients are for 1 serving. Multiply the recipe for your desired number of servings.

1 small Russet potato, thinly sliced

1 small Spanish onion, sliced into rings

Salt & Pepper to taste

1 Tbsp Finely chopped fresh parsley

Avocado Oil

Pinch of Dried Oregano

Pinch of Dried Basil

Serve with:

Sautéed asparagus & mushrooms

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Tear a long sheet of aluminium foil and place a shiny side down onto the counter.

Place the sliced potatoes and onions onto the middle of the foil. Drizzle over some avocado oil & sprinkle salt & pepper on top.

Sprinkle the dried oregano and basil on top and finish by sprinkling the fresh parsley on top.

Fold the long ends of the foil towards the middle then roll up each of the other sides to form a tightly closed packet.

Place the packet onto a cookie sheet and place in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

While the potatoes are baking slice mushrooms and chop asparagus into 1- inch pieces.

Sauté these in a little avocado oil and a sprinkle of salt & pepper.

After 30 minutes open the packets (be careful not to be too close when opening the packets as there can be hot steam releasing).

Serve some of the potato/onion mixture onto a beautiful plate. On the side add some of the sautéed mushrooms & asparagus. Enjoy!

Bon Appetit!

With Love,
